About SEEDSEED is a 128-bit symmetric key block cipher that has been developed by KISA and a group of experts since 1998.
SEED has been adopted as an industrial association standard of Korea (Telecommunication Technology Association) at 1999 and ISO/IEC and IETF International Standard at 2005.
